HOLD ON FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE ... or at least Jewels’! Spain out did herself in this last book in the series, which I think is my absolute favorite of the six books. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. I have watched (actually read) Spain grow in her storytelling abilities with each book she publishes. “Regretful Trust” is the pinnacle of her achievements thus far with more jaw-dropping surprises and cringe-worthy scenes that have become a “trademark” of Spain’s Jewels Trust series. Although “Regretful Trust” is a BIG book, nearly 160,000 words, I never got bored and was never tempted to skim paragraphs or skip chapters. The downside, I hated to see the series end.
